Astor Bannerman Changing Places image

With added uncertainty surrounding Brexit, Astor Bannerman is putting extra measures in place to ensure its customers’ needs are met, whatever the outcome of Brexit.

The company’s “Brexit Order” and “Brexit Contingency Plan” ensures: there is significant stock of finished products and key components in its UK warehouses; there is a secured pipeline of component parts for the foreseeable future; a stocklist of available products, which will be published in an accessible intranet site; and the capability to dispatch spare parts within 24 hours.

Astor Bannerman manufactures products in its own factories within the UK and Germany. The company says that this should reassure customers and said: “We have a good foothold either side of the Channel, [which] should reassure all that Astor-Bannerman is well positioned to continue to address all your supply needs.”

Buckingham Healthcare has brought production of its Buckingham Walking Frame Caddy back to the UK, while Medstrom Healthcare brought production of its 5000 specialist profiling bed range back to the UK.

For over 25 years, Astor Bannerman has specialised in the design and manufacture of specialist bathing and care equipment. Its comprehensive product portfolio includes mobile hoists, height adjustable baths, bath cushions, and showering & changing tables.
