Mobility equipment specialist Ottobock has confirmed that it is now a supplier of powered wheelchairs via the Motability Scheme.

Ottobock states that as its products are designed to increase independence and improve the quality of life this is In keeping with the charity’s vision that no disabled person should be disadvantaged due to poor access to transportation.

Keir French, Business Manager at Ottobock commented; “From the moment I joined Ottobock I wanted our products back on the scheme where they belong. I am thrilled that we have been accepted and our powerchairs; the Juvo B4, B5, B6 and the Wingus will be available to Motability customers from now onwards.

“We believe that we have equipment that is reliable and of a high quality to support people with disabilities in achieving the independence they require. The reliability of our range fits well with the demands of Motability for hassle-free personal mobility and we are excited for the opportunity to enhance the lives of those that need this amazing scheme.”

The Ottobock products available on the scheme include the Wingus which offers a high level of driving comfort combined with reliable functionality and an appealing, minimalist design and a range of the Juvo B4, B5 and B6 available in different drive types to offer a great deal of flexibility, both indoors and outdoors.
