Improving Patient Outcome Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare

Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare is gathering Tissue Viability, Occupational Therapy and Moving and Handling experts together with its new, fully CPD-accredited courses.

The Improving Patient Outcomes Together sessions will bring together speakers from all disciplines to discuss practical solutions of interprofessional interest with the goal of achieving better outcomes for patients.

Despite many courses already being available for each individual field, Drive DeVilbiss says key opinion leaders and clinicians identified that few courses focus on the connections and overlaps that exist between the different disciplines.

Seeking to bring the different areas of expertise in each specialism together, the mobility, independent living and healthcare supplier’s program courses will be led by a mix of independent reputable experts in their field.

Sarah Westcott, Clinical Lead at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, commented: “These study days show a huge commitment by Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare to both its clinical services and to its customers.

“Delivering CPD events that have a genuine clinical focus, and therefore value, to clinicians from a variety of backgrounds and experiences means that we are able to show that we are truly focused on adding value as an organisation.

According to the company, the day will consist of a program of topical sessions touching on all specialities and providing valuable training and education on current and future issues.

“Personally, as one of the DDH clinical team it is very exciting to be a part of the mission to support customers in such a dynamic way,” she added.
