Bristol Rovers Community TrustCommunity equipment specialists Medequip have announced that it is partnering with Bristol Rovers Community Trust in its latest local sponsorship initiative.

The partnership is part of Medequip’s ongoing community engagement programme, giving back to the areas where they provide equipment and services designed to keep people independent in their own homes for longer.

The Trust was founded in 1992 as part of the Professional Footballers Association’s nationwide Football in the Community initiative, originally to encourage children into the game. Since then, now under the governance of the Football League Trust, the focus and scope has developed significantly.

Today, Bristol Rovers Community Trust works right across the local community, with programmes covering aspects such as social inclusion, health, education and sports participation. Working under the ethos of ‘Enhancing, Elevating and Improving Lives in Bristol’ the Trust has participants ranging in age from four to 80+.
