Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare step up to support speedy hospital discharges this winter
Mobility equipment manufacturer Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare is ramping up for the winter months with its range of UK manufactured community products by promising short lead times to facilitate hospital discharges.
One of the primary reasons for delayed discharge is having a package of care available for those patients assessed as needing additional support, whether that be care workers providing support for daily activities or assistive medical equipment to help them convalesce and recover at home.
As a designer and manufacturer of a range of community assistive products, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare states that its primary focus is to enable users to maintain an independent life at home – from electrically profiling beds to pressure area care mattresses as well as a large range of daily living aids to support users at home or in care environments.
Over the last few years Drive DeVilbiss has invested significantly in its UK production facilities, to improve competitiveness and lead times to deliver high levels of service to its customers.
The production facility in Halifax, West Yorkshire is Drive DeVilbiss’ electrically profiling bed manufacturing site, housing the product design, regulatory, compliance and talented manufacturing teams, transforming raw steel into beds such as the market leading Solite Pro.
Leicestershire is the home of Drive DeVilbiss’ daily living aids production facility, with the site delivering over 350,000 individual products to customers across the UK on a yearly basis.
This winter Drive DeVilbiss is offering a range of UK manufactured products to support community equipment services to react quickly to seasonal pressures. Rental options are also available.
