Yorkshire Care Equipment to reveal brand-new falls assistance device in upcoming webinar
Specialist seating, mobility aid and care equipment company Yorkshire Care Equipment is looking to further engage with healthcare professionals as it continues its educational webinar series.
Its free upcoming webinar, ‘Falls & Hip Fractures Webinar: Top Tips for Recovery & Prevention’, will give training and support to occupational therapists and physiotherapists who work with users that have been affected by, or are vulnerable to, falls.
During the 50-minute session, Yorkshire Care Equipment will unveil a brand-new, “revolutionary” and first-of-its-kind falls prevention device, with the webinar marking the official launch of the product in the UK. Yorkshire Care Equipment will also provide a live product demonstration of the latest mobility aid.
Additionally, the webinar will explore the significance of falls in the UK to both individuals and the NHS, the ramifications of falls, and preventative measures that can be taken to tackle falls around the home. There will also be a live Q&A session.
The webinar will take place on Thursday 22nd April from 2pm-2.50pm. Yorkshire Care Equipment will share a full recording with all registered attendees.

In February, the company launched the Raizer M fall assistance device, expanding its range of Raizer devices, which has been specially designed for domestic use.
Yorkshire Care Equipment has supplied the Raizer range to UK care homes, hospitals, emergency services, and some private residents since 2016. Raizer M is the third addition to the range. Following record sales in 2019, the company launched an updated Raizer II in January 2020.
Throughout the pandemic, the company has also been offering free wheelchair hire for any Harrogate and District residents due to attend their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
