Hosted by Shaun Masters, Occupational Therapist, the Theraposture ‘Getting legs into bed’ CPD seminars were hugely popular at the OT Show this year.

Theraposture reported its most successful OT Show ever with impressive numbers of occupational therapists attending its stand at Birmingham’s NEC last week for educational seminars and Rotoflex bed demonstrations.

As one of the longest-standing OT Show exhibitors, Theraposture delivered a showcase featuring its adjustable beds, rotating Rotoflex bed range, paediatric care cots and Theracare Leg Lifter. OTs were able to experience live demonstrations of these award-winning products whilst benefiting from free CPD education (Continuing Professional Development).

Presented by Shaun Masters, OT, the Getting legs into bed’ seminars on the Theraposture stand attracted even more professionals than previous years. These CPD sessions explored key considerations regarding a safe transfer into, out of and away from a bed – a major issue in today’s community.

From a clinical point of view, Shaun demonstrated why a Theracare Leg Lifter and the Rotoflex can be appropriate for improved occupational performance in a variety of client scenarios. The Rotoflex is highly respected by healthcare professionals as it previously won the OT Show ‘Excellence in Caring’ Award as voted for by a panel of independent Occupational Therapists.

Each CPD seminar attracted high numbers of attendees with the mid-day slots witnessing strong crowds. Liam Braddell, Theraposture Managing Director, comments: “We were delighted to welcome so many Occupational Therapists onto our stand this year, in fact the numbers were the highest ever.

The combination of our CPD, award-winning Rotoflex and clinical expertise all added up to an unmissable showcase. Feedback on Shaun’s presentations was highly complementary, and our Trusted Assessors were busy throughout both days offering sleeping solutions for individual client cases.”

Liam concludes: “Alongside equipment demonstrations, OTs were keen to learn more about our budget saving services. We had many engaging conversations regarding our fast delivery padded care cot packages, free bed moves, ‘Challenge us!’ price matching promise and free home and video client assessments.

“Overall, we experienced a real ‘buzz’ on our 2022 stand and look forward to supplying the equipment we recommended so the best outcomes are achieved for all.”

Continuing with its commitment to education, Theraposture will now return to its programme of free CPD webinars, Lunch ‘n’ Learn product demonstrations and online resources. To sign up for future educational events click here.
