Smirthwaite appoints new Operational Director to help move its growth plans forward
Bespoke equipment manufacturer, Smirthwaite, which designs equipment for children and young adults with additional needs, has announced the appointment of Piers Tweedie who will be taking on the new role of Operations Director.
In a move that marks an exciting new start to 2024 for Smirthwaite, Piers previously at VacSax Ltd and Sherwin-Williams, brings a wealth of operations experience and new ideas to Smirthwaite; and will be leading the company’s operations team moving forward.
A dynamic influencer in ‘change management,’ Piers has extensive experience creating ‘lean manufacturing’ and ‘continuous improvement’ cultures.

This latest appointment comes after Smirthwaite extended its sales team with the appointment of Anthony Wright who took on the role of Technical Product Advisor, The Midlands in December 2023.
