Rise & Recline continues its expansion with Area Sales Manager for the East Coast
Adjustable chairs and beds specialist Rise & Recline has announced the appointment of Edward Morley to the position of Area Sales Manager for the East Coast of England.
Edward has been with the business for over three years and was joined by his sister Melissa in 2021 who now works as a Customer Relations & Marketing Assistant.
Since joining the business in 2020, Ed has worked in all areas of the business from manufacturing and the warehouse to the sales and productions offices.
Edward commented: “By spending so much time in every department of the business I have gained a wealth of knowledge which is already helping me in my new role when I am out talking to existing and potential new dealers. I also spent a couple of months shadowing our National Sales Manager Craig Negri which was incredibly helpful as he has been in the industry for many years.”
Nigel Morley, Director of Rise & Recline, added: “Edward has been in his new role since the start of the year, and it is great for us to now have a full-time presence on the East Coast as this is something we have been lacking.
“During his time with the company, Edward has literally been like a sponge soaking up as much knowledge as possible and I truly believe this will be a benefit to us as a business and more importantly to our East Coast dealers. Completing the family triangle at Rise and Recline is Melissa Morley who has been with the company for two years and is responsible for maintaining a regular contact between the Rise & Recline head office and its UK dealer network. Melissa also works closely with the company’s White Glove Delivery Team and manages all Stainguard warranty applications.
“I know it’s a cliché, but I really do love my job. Anyone will tell you that I don’t need an excuse to talk so this is the perfect job for me and the fact that everyone I speak to is so friendly means the day just flies by,” commented Melissa.

The firm recently announced that it will be debuting its recently launched Sherwood and Sherwood Hi-Lo beds on stand G30 at Naidex, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 22-23 March 2023.
