Rehasense PAWSMobility equipment supplier Rehasense UK is set to exhibit several models from its comprehensive product portfolio including the Server W Forearm Walker and its range of Power Assisted Wheelchair Systems (PAWS) on stand F71 at The OT Show from 23-24 November.

Lee French, Managing Director at Rehasense UK, commented: “The OT Show is a great opportunity for us to showcase our growing product portfolio to OT’s from around the UK in a friendly and relaxed environment.

“OT’s play a vital role in recommending our products to their clients so to be able to demonstrate our rollators, wheelchairs and power add-ons to so many over a two-day period is an extremely worthwhile investment for us”

The Server W Forearm Walker offers a superb solution for people requiring additional support when walking and has won a 2020 THIIS retailer choice award, it features gutter forearm supports that are height adjustable to between 75cm and 115cm and features an integrated handle which can be adjusted by up to 13cm and has thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) covered ‘unbreakable’ wheels.

Weighing 9.5kg with a maximum user weight of 150kg, the Server W is one of the lightest forearm walkers available, it can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments and is foldable to fit into a car for transportation.

A one-handed brake system is available for users who have reduced strength in one arm, which can be fitted to either side. There is also the option of a slowdown brake for continuous resistance which enables the user to control the speed of the rollator.

When not in use, the Server W takes up very little space as the A-Lock locking system ensures the Server W stands securely on its wheels when folded. The device is available in sizes medium and large, in colours red, grey or champagne.

To compliment the Server W there is a comprehensive range of accessories available including an easy to remove shopping bag, a net bag for smaller items such as a phone or perse and a crutch holder.

Also on show will be examples from the Power Assisted Wheelchair System (PAWS) range.  There are three models available, the City, Cruiser and Tourer, which are available with automatic or manual clamp and lift systems. The PAWS has a range of up to 25 miles and can be charged from empty in five hours. For wheelchair users looking to venture off standard road surfaces and onto uneven terrain such as a forest trail, the Cruiser is ideal, as the larger 16” wheel offers a smooth comfortable ride.

Finally, the Tourer can take wheelchair users to terrain which would normally be inaccessible. Its 20” wheel, 4” wide tyres and longer wheelbase for increased clearance and manoeuvrability.
