Kaye Walker
RMS is currently offering the Kaye Walker, which has redefined assisted walking across the world.

After 35 years of business, Quest 88 has ceased trading with the rights to its products purchased by mobility equipment supplier Rehabilitation Manufacturing Services (RMS).

With effect from 17th October 2022, RMS obtained exclusive import and distribution rights for the entire portfolio of Quest manufactured products for customers in the UK and Ireland from Quest 88, after it ceased trading.

RMS is currently offering the Kaye Walker, which it is importing from Kaye America on an exclusive distribution deal for the UK and Ireland. These are available to order now for delivery in the New Year.

Over the last 30 years, the Kaye Walker, has redefined assisted walking across the world, with its ability to improve posture and walking pattern.

The therapy benches that Quest 88 manufactured will “hopefully” be offered soon by RMS, it says, with more information to follow.

The tricycles and standers that Quest 88 used to manufacture will be discontinued for now, RMS has confirmed, as it has a portfolio of products that it believes are better and fairer in price. RMS encourages Quest 88 customers to get in contact to see what it can offer as alternatives to these products.

Mila Newbold, Communications Manager for RMS, commented to THIIS: “Whilst it is always sad to see such a well-known brand in our industry go into administration after 35 years of trading, RMS are very excited that we have been able to secure the continued supply of the Kaye Walker and other vital products, further expanding our portfolio of walking aids.

“We are working diligently to get the Kaye Walker back on line as soon as possible, and we would encourage any of Quests previous customers to get in contact to see how we can supply any required equipment.”

RMS customers are invited to forward any inquiries about its products by emailing sales@rms-rehab.co.uk, or calling 01795 477280.

In an interview with THIIS earlier this year, Alan Wombell, Company Director of RMS, stated that the firm was focused on solidifying its position in the market as well as investing in long-term staff and apprentices. The firm also launched an e-commerce platform this year, which aims to provide its customers with the tools they need to purchase products directly.
