Pro Rider Mobility opens new Birmingham showroom as parent group develops e-mobility proposition
Tandem Group has announced the opening of Pro Rider Mobility specialist e-mobility showroom within the Electric Life showroom, in the heart of the West Midlands as the group develops their e-mobility proposition.
Pro Rider Mobility and Electric Life, owned by Tandem Group, are designers, developers, distributors and retailers of sports, leisure and mobility equipment. The group launched Electric Life as a specialist e-mobility website earlier this year and now offers a full multi-channel experience having opened their first dedicated showroom in Birmingham, located off the M6 in Castle Vale.
Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands who attended the opening with Adam Tranter, West Midlands Cycling & Walking Commissioner said: “It was wonderful to open the new Electric Life showroom in Castle Vale, Birmingham. I’m convinced the future of personal transport for short journeys is going to be light electric vehicles so it was great to see the latest e-bikes, electric mobility scooters and e-motor bikes from a Birmingham business growing on the global stage.
“Easy and affordable access to vehicles like e-bikes, combined with our plans for new infrastructure, will be essential to help us to move around sustainably in the West Midlands.”
The facility showcases the UK’s largest range of electric mobility products featuring a breadth of electric mobility scooters, electric bikes, electric scooters, electric motorbikes and electric golf trolleys. A dedicated area of the showroom boasts Pro Rider Mobility products and a huge range of e-mobility scooters from brands including Pro Rider, Pride and Roma across all mobility vehicle classes.
On display are e-bike brands, including award-winning British bike brands Whyte, Quella and the global Spanish powerhouse of Orbea along with an extensive range of own-label heritage brands including Dawes, Li-fe, Claud Butler & Falcon. A comprehensive range of JIVR, Li-fe and Inokim e-scooters are available alongside the stylist Sterling Eco electric motorcycles. Pro Rider electric golf trolleys are on display along with Ben Sayers one of the oldest golf brands in the world.
The showroom is located with easy access from junction 5 of the M6 and just 20 mins from Birmingham city centre it offers free parking, a free test ride ‘try before you buy policy’. Customers will be supported by an expert team on hand with a dedicated service and repair centre where all products sold have a ‘free six-week check’.

This showroom opening comes at an exciting time for Tandem Group as it prepares for the imminent opening of a new purpose-built state-of-the-art warehouse next month alongside their existing distribution centre.
