Permobil welcomes new Chief Financial Officer with 20 years of global business experience
Mobility manufacturer Permobil has announced that Charlotta Nyberg, who boasts 20 years of experience in business finance, has been appointed as its new Chief Financial Officer of the company.
Charlotta will be responsible for the financial management of the Group and will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable long-term business growth and success through corporate development and profitability management.
Specifically, Group Accounting, Group Finance, Corporate Development and Group IT will report to the CFO.
Charlotta’s experience in business finance includes helping to build new and emerging businesses and change management. She joins from Swedish telecommunications multi-national Telia where she is the vice president for Corporate Control.

Prior to Telia, Charlotta had leadership positions in Ericsson, Business Sweden and began her career with 10 years at Accenture.

Reporting to the CEO, Bengt Thorsson, Charlotta joins Permobil’s group management team as of November 1st. Charlotta replaces Carl Bandhold who leaves Permobil after more than 10 years to take on a new challenge.
Bengt added: “On behalf of everyone at Permobil, I would like to thank Carl for his dedication and contribution to our international growth success over an exciting decade.”
Permobil recently made an “important step” in its overall strategy of developing the next generation of advanced assistive technology and services after entering an agreement to acquire Italian wheelchair manufacturer Progeo.
