EXCLUSIVE: Ki Mobility gives UK mobility sector a chance to get ‘hands on’ with its products by exhibiting at BHTS
Samantha Heathcock, Ki Mobility UK Marketing Coordinator, has said the supplier is looking forward to showcasing its range of products and services to businesses that may not have had an opportunity to see them at the upcoming British Healthcare Trade Show (BHTS).
Ki Mobility produces a range of innovative wheelchair and seating products, including super-lightweight adult manual wheelchairs, tilt-in-space wheelchairs, paediatric wheelchairs and premium wheelchair cushions and backrests.
Distributed throughout 65 countries, Ki Mobility prides itself on being ‘better by design’, whether that be product design, customer service, communication, quality or lead times.
THIIS spoke with Samantha to find out which products BHTS visitors can expect to see on the Ki Mobility stand at the trade-exclusive show, opportunities for collaborative working, and why having an event dedicated to the mobility sector is important.
Why has Ki Mobility chosen to support the industry by exhibiting at BHTS?
Like all trades the mobility industry has been impacted by the pandemic and, as we ease into the ‘new normal’, it’s more important than ever for us all to come together to support the fantastic network of businesses that make up the UK mobility industry. From national dealerships, through smaller family-owned standalone shops, to independent consultants, we want to be able to support all by giving businesses access to a range of innovative and affordable products, educational support and marketing and sales assistance.
What are you most looking forward to at BHTS?
One of the major impacts of the pandemic has been the lack of face-to-face events. We are looking forward to reconnecting with some familiar faces and meeting new ones. Ki Mobility is a relatively new player in the UK mobility industry (although already making quite an impact) and we are excited to showcase our ‘better by design’ products and services to businesses who may not have had the opportunity to see them. It will be great for those in the industry to get ‘hands on’ with the products and for us to get feedback from those attending too.
Why should people come and see you at the show?
Ki Mobility will be showcasing a number of products, including some of our most popular paediatric wheelchair solutions, notably the:
- Little Wave Flip – which combines elements from strollers with the durability of a wheelchair
- Little Wave Clik – an early intervention wheelchair with intuitive built-in growth
- Rogue XP – which provides an ideal stylish solution for growing teens
Our knowledgeable Ki Mobility staff will be available on the stand to provide information and answer questions on Ki’s product range, as well as the services the company is able to provide. There might even be a freebie or two!
Why do you think a trade-exclusive event for the industry is important?
A dedicated trade-only event gives the space, time and opportunity for us to have those in-depth business-to-business conversations. Whether it’s a detailed chat about product specifications or a more extensive talk about opportunities to work together, it’s great to have the chance to discuss these in an environment dedicated to the industry.
Ki Mobility will be on stand 23 at the British Healthcare Trade Show

Delivered in partnership with the British Healthcare Trades Association, THIIS Magazine and Promoting Independence, and sponsored by Motion Healthcare, BHTS aims to reconnect retailers with leading manufacturers in the mobility and access sectors in a relaxed, COVID-secure space. The event takes place on 15th June 2021 at the Weetwood Hall Estate in Leeds.
