Mobility industry award recognition for Cyclone Mobility and Kingkraft at Disability Expo 2023
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) presented awards to mobility suppliers Cyclone Mobility and Kingkraft at the Disability Expo 2023, which was held at London’s ExCel event centre recently.
Cyclone Mobility was named ‘BHTA Best Trade Retailer’ and Kingkraft ‘BHTA Best Manufacturer’ at a special Disability Expo trade evening on 6th July, which gathered together manufacturers and distributors of disability related products or services.
Trade evening attendees gathered at Centre Stage for presentations on relevant trade news and updates, which included awards from the BHTA, as voted on by its members, section chairs and vice chairs.
The award for Disability Expo BHTA Best Trade Retailer, won by Cyclone Mobility, recognises the BHTA retailer who always goes the extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service and truly upholds the BHTA Code of Practice. Based in Widmes, Cyclone Mobility is a provider of active wheelchairs and other mobility solutions.
Sheffield-based Kingkraft, which specialises in accessible baths, changers and basins, was presented with the Disability Expo BHTA Best Manufacturer award, which recognises a manufacturer who has worked on advancing innovation and sustainability in the industry and demonstrating operational excellence.
Neal Dadswell, Director of Sales and Business Growth at Kingkraft commented: “This is a team effort from owners of the business, through to the sales team, the production engineers, installers and the administrative and customer service teams.”
Thomas Harrison, Managing Director at Kingkraft, added: “Everyone has worked really hard over the past few years to improve every aspect of the business and it’s nice to have that recognised.”
