EXCLUSIVE: Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare launches “new and improved” Manual Fold+ mobility scooter
Mobility equipment supplier Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has launched its “new and improved” Manual Fold+ Scooter, the first in a programme of scooter launches they have planned for this summer.
Based on the original, this upgraded model has a fresh new design, an extensive list of new features and is 3kg lighter, weighing 19.8kg, once armrests, cushions and battery removed.
Dallas Newsham, International Category Manager at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare, says: “The Manual Fold+ Scooter supersedes our current Manual Folding scooter and has been designed to be much lighter in weight, it includes easy-to-remove flip-up armrests, extra padded seat cushions, larger battery pack, new shroud and appearance, and also includes a grab handle within the seat base to further enhance user convenience making it even more ideal for easy travelling and transportation.”
This slimline stylish scooter features a new style red release handle making it even easier to fold and unfold and has an easy-to-understand display, variable speed functions and a height adjustable tiller to suit user requirements.

This manual folding scooter has several great new features that represent a huge step up from previous model and I’m pleased to say it hits a great price point and it’s in stock now, bang in the middle of scooter season”.
This new scooter features a lightweight removable lithium ion 25.2V, 10Ah airline-friendly battery pack and it can be charged on or off board. It has a maximum range of 15km, a top speed of 4mph, solid puncture proof tyres and an impressive max user weight of 125kg.
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare also recently launched the UltraFold, a premium four-wheel model fusing contemporary design, safety, comfort, and high performance.
