Loopwheels gets set to launch new lightweight wheel for young wheelchair users at Naidex
British shock-absorbing wheel supplier Loopwheels is to launch new lightweight version of its wheelchair wheel at this year’s Naidex event, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC from 20-21 March 2024.
Loopwheels LT is a vibration-reducing wheelchair wheel designed for lighter wheelchair users (40-60kg) with its lighter frame making it an an ideal option for teenagers and those with a lighter frame.
It helps to achieve a smoother ride by taking out most of the bumps, jolts and vibrations that manual wheelchair users experience.
The 24” wheel is available in one spring strength to maximise comfort for our lighter weight customers and to comply with ISO 2631-1 1997. This international safety standard defines the measurement, and the limits, of human exposure to vibration in a seated position before action is needed to reduce the risk of harm.

In 2023, Loopwheels announced that it was teaming up with Danish wheelchair manufacturer Wolturnus on a vibration-reducing manual wheelchair.
Loopwheels will be on Stand J92 at Naidex from 20th to 21st March at Naidex.
