Lifestyle & Mobility sets up new brand to support end-users with complex rehabilitation needs
Mobility retailer Lifestyle & Mobility has announced the launch of Nexus Rehab, a new company and brand which will focus on complex rehabilitation for end users at home and in clinics.
Nexus Rehab was created to provide a “modern, exciting and unified approach to each client’s equipment selection,” commented Darren Macey, Business Development Manager for Lifestyle & Mobility.
Working with case managers, therapists, NHS and private hospitals, charities, and private individuals, Nexus Rehab aims to simplify the process and remove the challenges of purchasing and maintaining the clients complex adaptive equipment.
Nexus Rehab’s offices and storage of assessment stock will be based at Lifestyle & Mobility’s easily accessible showroom in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
Speaking exclusively to THIIS Darren said: “Nexus Rehab was born out of a desire to create this connection between our clients and multiple complex rehabilitation equipment manufacturers whilst always ensuring that the client is the focal point. This ensures the client’s personal rehabilitation goals are met.
“Being able to offer a broad spectrum of industry-leading products, we can approach each client with a holistic assessment, creating strong relationships while truly understanding our clients’ needs in their entirety. Our aim is to become a trusted and essential part of our client’s rehabilitation journey rather than fixing one part of the client’s needs.”
Boasting extensive mobility and specialist equipment experience within its team, Nexus Rehab aims to provide an “industry leading customer experience”, explains Darren, from the initial point of enquiry, throughout to the product assessment process, handover, and aftercare.
Darren adds: “Both from the point of view of the client, but also from any professional stakeholders involved in the client’s care, we will never leave a client with a product following an assessment that they do not fully understand or that does not meet the desired outcomes.”
Pete Jones, who joined Lifestyle & Mobility in August 2022 and helped form Nexus Rehab with Simon Greenway, Business Development Manager, has been appointed Complex Rehabilitation Business Director of Nexus Rehab. Darren stated: “We would like to formally congratulate him on his new role and for being instrumental in bringing this together alongside Simon Greenway.”
