Lifestyle & Mobility adds experienced Complex Rehabilitation Business Manager to its team
Mobility retailer Lifestyle & Mobility has appointed experienced mobility professional Pete Jones to help manage its growth within the complex rehabilitation sector.
As Complex Rehabilitation Business Manager, Pete will be based at the retailer’s Specialist Centre at Welwyn Garden City. His primary responsibility on a day-to-day basis will be to engage with case managers, occupational therapists, care organisations, and private individuals with the aim to increase awareness of our product offering.
He commented to THIIS: “With this as my sole focus I aim to spearhead the development of the high-end prescriptive sales growth within these sectors.
“I am thoroughly enjoying developing relationships with our key suppliers to ensure product knowledge and training is up to date to enable me to offer the best possible solutions to the end user.”
Pete has been working in the medical devices industry across a variety of sectors, including for therapy and mobility equipment, for the last 15 years.
He added: “In this time, it has really helped to shape me as a person both professionally and personally. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of enhancing an individual’s ability to aid in achieving their personal goals.
“I am dedicated to always providing the best product available and the best service possible to ensure that the end user is always the focal point of any decision made. I am passionate about what I do and will always go the extra mile to ensure that the end user has their key focus/ability enhanced before the job is complete.”
His previous role with Permobil, he says, really aided his development and profile within the mobility industry.
Pete commented: “As a key member of the UK team responsible for adjusting the route to market from direct sales to dealer distribution, I was heavily involved in developing the relationships with high-end prescriptive dealers across the UK.”
In his spare time Pete enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in various sports and travelling. He adds: “I have taken part in several sporting challenges over the years, completing triathlons, marathons and European cycling charity events. I enjoy the challenge and the sense of achievement when these events are complete.”

In May 2022 the retailer appointed Trevor Hewitt as Mobility Sales Consultant at its Welwyn Garden City store.
