Lifestyle and Mobility appoints experienced new Wheelchair Assessor at its Bournemouth branch
Mobility retailer Lifestyle and Mobility has appointed Kevin Smith as Wheelchair Assessor at its Bournemouth store.
Kevin commented: “I’m looking forward and excited to be joining this fast-growing company with high-end products to supply to our end users.
“I have been a wheelchair user myself for over 30 years after a road traffic accident left me paraplegic. My working life has mainly been within the mobility industry, having run my own mobility company for over 10 years.
“As an assessor, my main focus is advising on the best products on the market to suit each individual. I look forward to meeting all our clients and feel I can use my life experiences and mobility knowledge to help them make the right choices.”
Lifestyle and Mobility was founded in 2002 by Ron Sverdloff and is now managed by Managing Director Aaron Sverdloff. As well as Bournemouth, the retailer has stores in the South East, in Basildon, Welwyn Garden City, Southend-on-Sea and Harlow.
The retailer recently teamed up with British Paralympian and disability campaigner Anne Wafula-Strike MBE to donate much-needed wheelchairs to Ukraine. Darren Macey, Business Development Manager at Lifestyle and Mobility, previously told THIIS: “We launched a donation part to our website, where anyone can donate as little as £5 to £195!”
