Jiraffe successfully launches the Rifton Stander to visitors at Kidz to Adultz North
Postural care specialist Jiraffe launched an all-new device that can be configured as a prone stander, a supine stander, and upright as multi-position at Kidz to Adultz North this week.
Jiraffe’s clinical team presented an on-stand demo of the Rifton Stander at the Manchester event, including its range of accessories, and discussed its features and clinical benefits.
Rifton’s all-new line of standing devices will eventually be available in four sizes but size one, which is designed for early intervention, is available now.
This adjustment also facilitates easier transfers, allowing precise positioning in every imaginable configuration, quick prone-to-supine switching and tool-free adjustments.
With its prone and supine configurations, the Rifton Stander has a multitude of positioning options for children of varying abilities.
The 0-30° independent hip abduction, tilt adjustment, and the variety of supports, straps, medial and lateral pads are among the features which allow the stander to be custom fit to nearly every need, and enable users to remain comfortably upright and active for longer.
The frame easily adjusts in height down close to the floor to allow peer-to-peer socialisation and then up to table height for play activities. This adjustment also facilitates easier transfers.

Sheffield-based Jenx, a pioneer of postural equipment for children for nearly 40 years, launched Jiraffe, its exclusive UK distribution and retail arm, in 2015.
The Jiraffe range covers all aspects of everyday life from seating and standing, to mobility and sleeping, to therapy and bathroom equipment from brands including Jenx, Rifton and Tarta Design.
In June 2023, Jiraffe announced that products by Jenx and Rifton will be despatched within a five-day timeframe.
