Handicare Partner DayStairlift provider Handicare promised a “bigger, better, stronger” future as it unveiled its latest products at its annual Partner Day last week – its first in-person event since meetings were stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Handicare invited partners from across its national network to the exclusive event in Manchester to celebrate and thank them for everything they had achieved, despite the challenges of the last few years.

Now part of the Savaria family, the accessibility leader now offers an expanded portfolio including the Garaventa Lift range of wheelchair platform lifts, and new and improved products such as the 4000 curved stairlift.

Since its acquisition by the Savaria Corporation in 2021, Handicare has been levelling up its offer to trade partners, and this event gave an insight into the mobility giant’s plans for integration and growth across Europe.

Paul Stockdill thanked partners for their successful year of trade sales: “It was brilliant to see all our partners together again, celebrating everything we’ve achieved.

“Our trade network is incredibly strong, and this was a great opportunity for us to thank everyone for working extremely hard to make this a successful year in the face of unprecedented circumstances.

“Now we can look ahead to a bright future together as part of the Savaria family. We’re on an exciting journey to change someone’s life every five minutes with our range of accessibility products – and that includes our whole expanded portfolio, not just stairlifts. We are Bigger, Better, Stronger together.”

Partners were introduced to the new range, including Vuelift, Savaria’s luxury glass home lift now available in the UK, as well as the Artira and X3 platform lifts from sister division Garaventa Lift.

Workshops by R&D specialists introduced new stairlift products too – Savaria’s K2 straight stairlift can now be bought directly through Handicare, and the launch of the 4000 curved stairlift showcased its new improved technology for Handicare’s smoothest ride yet.

The day ended with a black-tie dinner and the prestigious Handicare Awards to thank partners for the growth they have achieved over the past year.

Silver Dealer of the Year went to Senior Stairlifts, Easy Mobility Services were awarded Gold Dealer of the Year, and TPG DisableAids were named Diamond Dealer of the Year. The award for Overall Growth went to Jackson Lift Services, and the winner of Handicare Dealer of the Year was Mobility Scotland.

Alastair Gibbs, Managing Director for TPG DisabledAids commented: “It was a great pleasure to receive the award from Handicare for ‘Diamond Dealer of the Year’. It is testament to the efforts put in by all of ‘Team TPG’, not only in growing the sales numbers but also working with Handicare on product improvements and high-level customer service detail that creates a better offering for the client and engineering team. Working together to become ‘Bigger, Better and Stronger.’”
