Darren Legg, Managing Director of DIETZ Rehab, says that the upcoming British Healthcare Trade Show (BHTS) is a chance for the supplier to meet existing and potential mobility dealers all in one venue.

Taking place on 15th June at the Weetwood Hall Estate in Leeds, BHTS aims to reconnect retailers with leading manufacturers in the mobility and access sectors in a relaxed, COVID-secure space. Sponsored by Motion Healthcare, the B2B trade-exclusive show is delivered in partnership with the British Healthcare Trades Association, THIIS Magazine and Promoting Independence.
THIIS caught up with Darren to find out how DIETZ Rehab can support retailers to navigate challenges posed by the pandemic and Brexit through its high-quality products and services as well as what BHTS visitors can expect from the supplier at the event.
Why has DIETZ Rehab chosen to support the industry by exhibiting at BHTS?
We took the decision to exhibit at the show for a number of key reasons but a sense of returning to some kind of normality and to meet existing and potential dealers all in one venue was certainly top of the list.
What are you most looking forward to at BHTS?
We are very excited about the opportunity to talk further with our existing dealers about the growth we are experiencing with them and how this will continue. Also, we will meet potential dealers so that we can take them through why our products and services are doing so well in the UK and how this can help support them as they look to bring their businesses back fully after lockdowns.
Why should people come and see you at the show?
We hear quite often how the pandemic, particularly the lockdowns, and Brexit have put real strains onto dealer’s businesses in a number of ways and that especially the performance of their suppliers and the products they offer still continue to give them certain challenges. The high quality of our product range, coupled with some unique features and the fact that we consistently deliver both products and spares quickly, offers them a solution to these problems.
Why do you think a trade-exclusive event for the industry is important?
As we operate focused on business-to-business sales, it is a very important aspect when looking at which exhibitions to attend. It allows us to concentrate entirely on our core target audience and to have conversations linked completely to how we look to support our dealers and achieve growth together.
