Electric Mobility unveils latest CosiChair riser recliner just in time for autumn
With the colder months set to descend soon, Electric Mobility has launched a new model to its CosiChar range to help dealers meet the seasonal demand for riser recliners.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Denwick is a new tilt-in-space single-motor CosiChair riser recliner with several enhanced features and a five-year guarantee.
Aiming to stand out, and fit in, in dealers’ showrooms and end-users’ homes, the chair boasts a tilt-in-space mechanism designed to increase stability, reduce sheer/friction and provide users with an ideal neutral sitting position. Additionally, the company says it offers the necessary level of back support for users whose legs need to be elevated above the hips.
The new riser recliner also features an easy-to-use, three-button handset.
“Launching four brand new fabrics available from stock on the Denwick sets this CosiChair above its competitors, taking inspiration from key interior trends while factoring in demographic expectations,” commented Anthony Thresher, CosiChair Product Manager.
“We are excited for our dealer network to see, feel and experience the new swatch samples available.”
According to the company, it has also made the new model available with a Waterall Back option in response to dealer demand which has been highlighted as a customer favourite.
Electric Mobility also confirmed that in phase two of the Denwick’s introduction to the market, a new Tailored Lateral Back option will be available in the coming months, offering an additional contemporary design that looks to combine style and structure.
A newly-created set of key marketing materials are also available to help its dealer network to promote the new riser recliner and its various colourways – VN Dove Grey, VN Slate Grey, VN Cocoa, and VN Oatmeal.
It comes following an expansion of CosiChair’s domestic production capability, with a second UK factory recently added to its supply chain and a significant investment in the local economy.

The Denwick replaces the Ellen which has been discontinued as of August 2020.
