Dash Rehab launches new “lightweight and easy to assemble” outdoor rollator
Mobility equipment supplier Dash Rehab has announced the latest addition to its collection of indoor and outdoor rollators, the Hurricane, to promote user confidence and safety when walking outdoors.
The outdoor rollator will support up to 136kg, so users are reassured that it is built for both comfort and durability.
The extra durable and strong thermoplastic rubber tyres with polypropylene centres move smoothly over the terrain when walking out of doors. Easy to manoeuvre, the 10-inch-high front wheels can handle kerbs and other obstacles.
Ergonomic soft-grip handles, and brake levers provide support and help maintain control. Lockdown brakes can be applied for user safety and reassurance. 
The handle bar is height-adjustable at the press of a button providing optimum support and comfort when walking. According to Dash Rehab, this makes it more comfortable than a standard walking frame as it can help relieve the pressure on wrists and knees too.
For rest and recovery, the Hurricane features a padded seat and supportive backrest. There is also a spacious detachable storage bag for essentials at the front of the rollator. This can be used as a shopping bag and comes with carry handles and a detachable shoulder strap.
The Hurricane is “lightweight and easy to assemble” according to Dash Rehab and can be folded together for easier transportation. Once folded, it can slide into a boot, onto the backseat of a car or onto a luggage rack on public transport.
