Chunc appoints new commercial manager to help deliver the next phase of its growth strategy
British wheelchair manufacturer Chunc has announced the appointment of Lara Bryant as Commercial Manager to support business growth across all streams, sectors and geographies.
Lara joins Chunc from a distinguished 27-year career spearheading the rise of the Helping Hand Company, a British manufacturer specialising in independent living, pressure management and 24-hour postural care.
As VP Sales & Marketing across healthcare, pressure care and environmental, Lara played a pivotal role in leading, managing and developing strategic growth across the UK and overseas.
In her new role as Commercial Manager at Chunc, Lara will play an integral part in delivering on the next phase of Chunc’s growth strategy, shaping its vision, commercial strategy and key initiatives.

Chunc is a family-run UK wheelchair manufacturer that was created when the Smith family could not find a suitable wheelchair for their daughter Sophie, who was born severely disabled and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
With a background in designing and manufacturing products for the aerospace industry, the family knew they could revolutionise the functionality, styling and user-friendliness of children’s wheelchairs.
Chunc chairs are made from start to finish in Hereford, including the manufacture of all of the machine and injection moulded components. Earlier this year Chunc introduced XL sizing to make it even easier for customers to continue using their chairs into their thirties and beyond.
