BREAKING: Rehacare postpones event until 14-17 September 2022 to protect vulnerable end-users
Messe Düsseldorf, in close cooperation with its exhibitors and partners, has decided not to hold the world-leading trade fair for rehabilitation and care this year.
Rehacare, which was originally planned for 6 to 9 October 2021, will now take place next year at the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Centre according to the usual schedule, from 14 to 17 September.
Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf commented: “We very much regret the cancellation of this year’s Rehacare, but it is a meeting place for people who are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
“High sensitivity and great caution are required here. Under these special circumstances, Rehacare will not be able to do justice to its role as the leading trade fair and meeting place for the community around the topic of rehabilitation and care this year.
“The health and ability for all participants to reliably plan have the highest priority for us.”
Rehacare is a source of information for many people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. At the last trade fair, these groups constituted a large share of visitors, its organisers acknowledged. Many of the exhibitor’s employees are also in the at-risk groups for COVID-19.
Hannes Niemann, Director of Rehacare, is feeling optimistic about next year: “Rehacare’s lifeblood lies in the connections that people make and the personal exchanges that they have.
“From numerous discussions with our clients, we know that Rehacare is still seen as the meeting point for the community, and both visitors and exhibitors are longing to get back to having in-person discussions at the trade fair after many months of social distancing.
“We are very confident that Rehacare will be the successful experience that we are all looking forward to once again, a reputation that it has held among the community for decades.”
From 14 To 17 September 2022, the world’s biggest trade fair for rehabilitation and care will offer professional and private visitors alike the opportunity to come together to discuss all subjects regarding life with a disability and in old age.
Visitors to Rehacare can expect to discover an array of innovations and trends to enable them to lead an independent life, including mobility aids, tips for leisure, travel and sports, wearables for optimised rehabilitation, care aids or intelligent assistance systems such as robots and exoskeletons.
In addition, forums, meet-ups, seminars, lectures and panel discussions offer more information on current topics relating to disability and social politics.https://thiis.co.uk/breaking-rehacare-postpones-event-until-14-17-september-2022-to-protect-vulnerable-end-users/https://i0.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/REHACARE-4.jpg?fit=900%2C629&ssl=1https://i0.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/REHACARE-4.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Events & ExhibitionsNewsroomSupplier NewsTrade Newsdusseldorf,Mobility, rehabilitation,Rehacare, trade fairMesse Düsseldorf, in close cooperation with its exhibitors and partners, has decided not to hold the world-leading trade fair for rehabilitation and care this year.
