Medequip gets ready to kick off its UK roadshow at the Great Yorkshire Show from 13-16 July
Community equipment services company Medequip is getting ready to kick of its UK roadshow at the Great Yorkshire Show from 13-16 July, where it will be sharing information, advice and special offers from its mobile exhibition unit.
Medequip will be on Stand 432 at the Great Yorkshire Show, which is located near the Big Wheel. Its staff, who will be following all the relevant government guidelines regarding COVID-19 health and safety, will be giving out information packs and details on how to return community equipment after use.
Anybody with items to return will also be able to pick up a prize draw leaflet from the Medequip stand. When they return the item, they can fill it in and enter a draw to win a £100 Manage At Home voucher.
A spokesperson for Medequip says that the firm places great importance on participating in face-to-face events. They said: “The focus is on getting across important messages such as how to access support and equipment as well as continuously telling people how important it is to return community equipment and not hide it in the attic or send it to the charity shop when they’ve finished with it!
“They can help the NHS by making sure it’s returned to Medequip where it will be checked, cleaned and issued to someone else who may need it.”
For those who use walking sticks, Medequip has confirmed that it is running a free service to ‘check the ferrule’ – that’s the little rubber tip that makes contact with the ground and stops the stick from slipping. As part of the company’s commitment to Falls Prevention, they’ll replace it free of charge if it’s worn or damaged.
Special discount offers will be available on some products from the Medequip stand too.
The firm has confirmed that it has lots more dates planned for its roadshow in the future. These include The Forever Young Festival in Greenwich, London on Friday 10th September, where it will be working in partnership with the Greenwich Carers Centre.
It will also be heading to the High Peak Health and Wellbeing Event at the Buxton Pavilion Gardens on Wednesday 29th September, when it will be working in partnership with NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Joined Up Care Derbyshire and a variety of local third sector organisations.
Medequip recently confirmed that it has been awarded a new contract by NHS Derby & Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Derby City Council to provide community equipment services across the city until the end of November 2023.https://thiis.co.uk/medequip-gets-ready-to-kick-of-its-uk-roadshow-at-the-great-yorkshire-show-from-13-16-july/https://i2.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/GYS.jpg?fit=900%2C590&ssl=1https://i2.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/GYS.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Events & ExhibitionsNewsroomSupplier NewsTrade Newscommunity, equipment,Medequip,Roadshow,Yorkshire Community equipment services company Medequip is getting ready to kick of its UK roadshow at the Great Yorkshire Show from 13-16 July, where it will be sharing information, advice and special offers from its mobile exhibition unit.
