Ableworld sets its sights on new Mobility and Stairlift Superstore in Berkshire
Mobility retailer Ableworld is set to expand its UK store number with a new Mobility and Stairlift superstore in Newbury, Berkshire.
The new store will be located close to its existing Reading store, to give a stronger mobility presence in the Berkshire area, and to be able to further support their existing Reading based customers.
As with its already existing 38 stores, the Newbury based store will include the vast range of Ableworld’s mobility products, from mobility scooters and powerchairs, to smaller daily living aids and continence care. There will also be in-house engineers available to install, service and repair a range of stairlifts and mobility equipment.
Ableworld is currently finalising the lease on the Berkshire property, with the set-up teams ready to then progress with the development, with the aim to open early in spring.
There is also another potential store opening on the horizon for the mobility retailer, as they set to expand their presence around their existing Gloucester store also. This would allow the company to reach customers further afield around the Cirencester and Cheltenham areas.
These latest store announcements come as Ableworld recently relocated its Ableworld Wrexham store to a larger and more accessible premises within the town, which came as delight to their customers and staff. The company continues to develop as its grow in store and employee numbers ahead of what is expecting to be a busy year ahead for the retailer.
Last month it was announced that the retailer had appointed Senior Manager Tony Leavy to Buying & Marketing Director as it continues its investment in staff and makes opportunities available at all levels.
