Ableworld hosts annual Stairlift Conference and announces new stairlift warehouse
As Ableworld enters its 22nd year of trading, the retailer recently gathered its UK stairlift engineers and senior managers together to host its annual Stairlift Conference and announce its new stairift warehouse.
The event was hosted at Stapeley House in Nantwich, focusing on the importance of its customer base and passionate workforce within the company, whilst also reflecting on last year’s successes.
The Stairlift Conference saw a number of internal and external speakers present to the Ableworld group.
These included Tim Wilkinson from Handicare who talked through the sales and manufacturing process.
An Ableworld spokesperson commented: “Ableworld’s in-house Systems & Projects team discussed upcoming changes to their till systems, and the Ableworld marketing team discussed how it is helping to generate stairlift leads within its campaigns.
“The day was concluded with inspiring words from the company director for the year ahead.”
The business now looks ahead to its busy spring promotional period, as well as its imminent Ableworld Thatcham store opening and 1,500 square foot stairlift warehouse which is due to be launched within the next three months.
The warehouse is going to be located where Ableworld’s Specialist department currently is at its Crewe store. The Specialist department, which provides bespoke mobility equipment for adults and children will be moved, to accommodate the space.
With new store openings on the horizon for Ableworld the warehouse is expected to provide a facility to store equipment due to space restrictions at the current location at the retailer’s Head Office.
