Ableworld celebrates staff successes at annual Business Conference as it looks ahead to the future
As Ableworld enters its 21st year of trading, the retailer recently gathered its franchise owners and senior managers together to its annual Business Conference in Cheshire.
After a two-year absence due to Covid-19, the event was hosted at Crewe Hall Hotel, with the theme of this year’s event being ‘People, Purpose, Passion’ focusing on the importance of its customer base and passionate workforce within the company.
Franchise owners and the Ableworld Head office team were welcomed with a dinner and awards ceremony on the Sunday evening, which celebrated the successes achieved over the previous years, and featured entertainment.
At the Business Conference Ableworld welcomed a number of internal and external speakers to present to the group. Key players in the mobility industry, Access Stairlifts, demonstrated its HomeGlide model to the group, as well as Wayne Hollis from Celebrity Furniture who talked through their product performance and manufacturing processes.
The in-house Systems & Project team discussed the upcoming changes to their till systems, and the marketing team discussed their recent exciting campaigns. The day was concluded with inspiring words from the company directors for the year ahead.

The business now looks ahead to its busy Autumn Promotion which expands over the Christmas period, as well as its imminent Ableworld Wrexham store relocation and potential new franchise prospects on the horizon.
