Theraposture seminar to demonstrate safe bed transfer solutions at The OT Show
Adjustable beds specialist Theraposture will be presenting a new seminar discussing equipment solutions for everyday issue at the Occupational Therapy Show 2023 from 22-23 November 2023.
The ‘Getting legs into bed – redefined’ seminar will be presented by occupational therapist Shaun Masters, and will take place on both days at the event at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 2pm and 3pm on Stand H52.
Shaun Masters, Occupational Therapist, will explore the latest solutions to help with safe and independent transfers into, out of, and away from a bed. From a clinical point of view, Shaun will also demonstrate how a Theracare Leg Lifter and the Theraposture Rotating Bed range can improve occupational performance in a variety of client scenarios.
The Rotating Bed range will be enhanced by the addition of Theraposture’s new Orbit 235, which is being launched at this year’s event.
The Orbit 235 can be adjusted to each client’s size, height, ergonomic and positional preferences, making it truly modular and easy to reissue.
Participants in the seminar will enjoy interactive demonstrations of Theraposture’s Leg Lifter and Rotating Bed range as well as being able to see and understand the scope of configurability with the new Orbit 235.
Potential care cost savings and reduced carer intervention will be explained, as well as certain products which are relevant to medical conditions and the latest legislation for appropriate bed prescription.
