Aimed at healthcare professionals involved in the area, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and nursing & rehabilitation specialists, the publication keeps readers abreast of the latest assistive technology developments and advancements.

Covering everything from high tech innovations in rehabilitation and independent living to smaller aids to daily living, the new magazine provides readers with an insight into the bustling area of assistive technology.

Sarah Sarsby, Editor of AT Today, commented: “There is so much innovation taking place in all areas of healthcare and for busy healthcare professionals, it can be difficult to keep track of all the new products and solutions being developed. Our new publication addresses this, giving readers high-quality, educational content in an easy-to-digest format.”

In addition, the publication features informative and useful articles from industry experts such as Promoting Independence’s Stuart Barrow, A1 Risk Solution’s Deborah Harrison, Disabled Living Foundation’s Janet Seward and the OT Practice’s Kate Sheehan.

Available for free, AT Today magazine can be found at key healthcare exhibitions throughout the year, including Disabled Living Foundation’s Moving and Handling Conference and all remaining Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conferences in 2019. Additionally, the magazine can also be viewed online on AT Today’s website, alongside daily updates featuring the latest assistive tech news, research and advice.

The first issue includes features on moving and handling, innovations in mobility, developments in dementia tech, healthcare apps for healthcare professionals, as well as upcoming CPD course and assistive technology events.

The launch of the title comes as CECOPS, the industry standards body, in association with the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) prepare to launch its first AT Conference with the aim of ensuring vital assistive technology products and services are able to meet the growing needs of an ageing population.
