Rehasense continues global expansion with appointment of wheelchair product manager
Mobility solutions supplier Rehasense has announced the appointment of Judith Mansson to the position of Product Manager for Manual Wheelchairs as part of its ongoing global expansion,
Lee French, Managing Director of Rehasense UK, commented: “With an impressive background as a physiotherapist and a specialist in mobility, seating, and positioning, Judith brings invaluable expertise to the Rehasense team. Her in-depth knowledge of manual wheelchairs and cushioning systems will be a huge benefit to Rehasense as we strive to increase our ever-growing portfolio of mobility solutions while offering exceptional levels of comfort and functionality.”
Judith believes one crucial role is the educating of key decision makers such as dealers, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to enable them to make informed choices that ultimately benefit the end user.
She says: “At times, there can be cultural differences with regards to how people view mobility solutions, and different reimbursement systems in different countries that can therefore require a different approach.
“Within my role I will also be a link between the manufacturing and the engineering teams, helping them work alongside the sales team as we develop new products for each market” commented Judith.
When asked about her vision for the future, Judith commented: “I am looking forward to working with the Rehasense teams as we strive to develop new and innovative products to add to our ever growing portfolio which can work together in synergy to meet the specific needs of the individual”.
The full range of Rehasense products will be on show on stand E120 at Naidex which takes place at the Birmingham NEC, 20-21 March 2024. Rehasense recently donated one of its Track Wheels to a former jockey in training for this year’s London Marathon.
