Adelphi Chair from Primacare

Product of the Year: Adelphi Care Chair from Primacare

TPG DisableAids Alastair GibbsAlastair Gibbs, Managing Director of TPG DisableAids

“For TPG DisableAids, our Pick of the Year is the Primacare Adelphi Care Chair. It has been a clear winner in expanding our range beyond the standard riser/recliner chairs, which clearly have their place in the comfort market. It has opened up a whole new customer base of more specific positioning seating requirements and dovetailed nicely with our other hoisting and handling ranges.

“The Adelphi back style uses soft cushioning and conventional wings to give postural support, sometimes with optional extras such as soft lateral support cushions. The Adelphi is available with manual or electric controls of the three main operations; leg rest, tilt and back angle.

“The end result is a very adaptable chair that can be tailored to suit a very wide range of clients. This makes it very easy to hold stock for rapid delivery and also extremely convenient to keep a demonstrator unit that can be adjusted to suit each individual client at the time of assessment.”
