Variatronic from Progeo

Product of the Year: Variotronic from Progeo

Kent Mobility John PayneJohn Payne, Managing Director of Kent Mobility

“We saw this product in Italy this year when we visited the Progeo factory in Italy and we have just started to import it so it is very new to the UK

“The chair is based on the Exelle Vario made-to-measure lightweight manual frame which the self-propelling wheels can be removed from with a quick-release axle, allowing you to clip on the power drive unit to it.

“The chair then drives the same as a powerchair, complete with electric braking. The unit also comes with lights, indicators and hazards as standard, as well as removable battery boxes as standard for transport.

“The quality of the engineering is very good – as with all the Progeo range- and this chair gives the customer two chairs in one.”
