Motability Scheme couple and carThe new Winter Price List from the Motability Scheme has been released which offers an updated range of over 750 vehicles and a wider choice of options that offer no or low advance payments.

The full range of cars, all of which include the benefits of a worry-free package as part of the lease, is available to explore using the Car Search Tool.

Every three months, Motability Operations renegotiates its prices to offer the best deals from each manufacturer. In addition, the business has invested in making the latest range of vehicles as affordable as possible, and on average the worry-free package the Scheme provides is 45 per cent cheaper for customers, it says, than the cost of an alternative leasing option.

The latest price list, which is valid until 31 March 2023, now offers more than three times the number of vehicles available for less than a customer’s total mobility allowance. This means that only some of the mobility allowance pays for the lease, and that customers can get some of the remaining money back each week.

Plus, there’s more than double the number of vehicles available at nil advance payment and with an advance payment of under £500.

Vehicles available for zero advance payment include the Ford Fiesta (previously starting from £445), the Vauxhall Mokka (previously starting from £599) and the Peugeot 2008 (previously starting from £499).

Plus, models now available with an advance payment starting at less than £500 include the Nissan Qashqai (previously starting from £999 now starting from £499), the Kia Sportage (previously starting from £999 now starting from £499) and the Vauxhall Astra (previously starting from £749, now starting from £249)

The winter price list features a range of manual, automatic and electric cars, as well as Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), scooters, and powered wheelchairs.

Andrew Miller, CEO of Motability Operations commenting on the pricing update said: “This quarter we are pleased to be able to support our customers by making our vehicles even more affordable, we have 89 cars with no advance payment and nearly 200 cars with an advance payment under £500.

“We understand that affordability is more important than ever right now, and we want to provide the best possible value for our customers.

“We’ve been working hard with all of our partners to increase our broad range of vehicles by a further 25 per cent, and I hope this helps our customers to easily find and lease the vehicle that is most suitable for them.”

Recently, mobility equipment manufacturer Motion Healthcare confirmed that its whole range of powerchairs and mobility scooters will now be available on the Motability Scheme.
