Monarch Mobility Hybrid 1

With seven new products launching this spring to catch the attention of mobility retailers, Monarch Mobility has revealed its two-in-one powerchair and mobility scooter.

Described as having the DNA of both powered mobility devices, the new Hybrid 2-in-1 aims to give retailers’ customer the best of both worlds.
The unique and innovative design incorporates all the features of both a powerchair and mobility scooter and comes available in a choice of four colours.

Capable of being split in seconds, the Hybrid can be transformed between devices within minutes, proving an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor use in either form says the company.

Fitting into the boot of most cars, the heaviest part of the Hybrid is 16.6kg to make it easier for customers to lift.

When transformed into its powerchair form, the Hybrid can carry a maximum weight of 21 stones and can go up to a speed of 4mph for up to a 15-mile radius, dependant on terrain and carry weight.

As a mobility scooter, the Hybrid boasts LED lighting, an electromagnetic braking system, an off-board charging facility and even storage space for shopping with under-seat storage and a shopping basket.

With a maximum speed of 4mph, the product will be sure to turn heads at this year’s Naidex when Monarch Mobility showcases its full range of new innovations to end-users and trade professionals.

“We are delighted to bring the Hybrid 2-in-1 to the market and continue to push the boundaries of innovation in the industry,” commented Martin Simpson, Managing Director of Monarch Mobility.

“Over the years, we have been the leader in bringing game-changers to our dealers to help them stand out in the competitive retail market and our Hybrid is no exception.”

The Hybrid will make its debut on stand N458 alongside six new innovations, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more and get hands-on with the models.

“We are excited to show the products to the public for the first time at Naidex and will be a fantastic chance to receive feedback and generate buzz. They are going to prove popular so I am sure we will be in for a busy couple of days!” finished Martin.
