At this year’s OT Show, Stiltz Homelifts says it will concentrate on educating delegates about the health and safety benefits of homelifts, including providing occupational evidence of successful outcomes and Disabled Facility Grant guidance.

Showcasing its Duo+ two-person lift and Trio+ three people lifts on stand, the Kingswinford-based homelift supplier will focus on the importance of social inclusion and accessibility within the home with a view to enhancing occupational performance.

Promoting the health benefits of greater accessibility for elderly and disabled clients and the reduction in the need for social care and NHS services, Stiltz will also emphasise to OTs how the risk of falls whilst using stairs is eliminated with a homelift.

In particular, the company says the “negative connotations and space issues commonly associated with stairlifts are avoided with an unobtrusive homelift that is positioned elsewhere in the home.”

The OT Show will take place on the 27th and 28 November 2019 at the NEC in Birmingham.
