Nic Bungay said: “The most valuable lessons I’ve learned at Habinteg have been through the conversations I have had with our customers. I want us to build on that principle, developing a culture of personal contact with our tenants.

“There are huge changes taking place across the housing sector. We need to engage our tenants better and consult with them so that we’re doing what’s best at every step.”

Nick Apetroaie, Habinteg CEO, said: “Nic brings a clear vision on how we can transform Habinteg into a truly customer-centric organisation. He has demonstrated a strong commitment and deep understanding of Habinteg’s mission and values. I am delighted to welcome him to his new role as Director of Housing and Assets.”

The appointment comes a couple of months after it appointed the former Chair of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), Eleanor Southwood MBE, as its new Chair.
