Etac launches “family friendly” adjustable fixed tilt mobility chair for children
Mobility equipment supplier Etac has launched an adjustable fixed tilt and recline chair for children offering comfort and convenience for both children and caregivers.
Lightweight, and with a compactly folded frame, Etac describes the Convaid Coaster as “the perfect family-friendly chair”.
The chair can be adjusted with a fixed tilt of either 10, 20, or 30 degrees and it offers 80 to 115 degrees of recline, in four fixed settings. Positioning can be further fine tuned via its height and tension-adjustable back positioner, positioning wedges, and a height-adjustable upper-extremity support tray, among other accessories.
Available in 12-inch, 14-inch, 16-inch, and 18-inch seat widths, each size offers five inches of seat depth growth. The Convaid Coaster’s two-step clamshell design enables it to be folded in one motion. Standard side pockets provide easy-to-reach storage space.
The width of the frame can be reduced by removing the quick-release wheels, making it convenient for transportation.

“First of all the Coaster has an over-the-top fold with very intuitive buttons and handles, meaning this is going to be the most intuitive and compact folding process and package. The Coaster will feature a massive breadth of accessories and have seat and recline angle adjustment on chair.”
Etac are stocking the Convaid Coaster in Poland for its European markets, which allow it to keep a larger stock holding on accessories, frames and upholsteries.
Ryan continues: “Our UK business benefits from two shipments a week from our Polish site so we are expecting Coaster lead times to run at two weeks from order to delivery.”
