eFOLDi Power Chair

eFOLDi’s folding powered wheelchair secured the runners-up prize in the ‘Best-in-show’ award at this year’s Naidex, the flagship event for the disability community held at Birmingham’s NEC recently.

The award aims to seek out those products which have the most positive impact for disabled people.

Despite impressing the judging panel, the powered wheelchair finished a close second in a highly competitive field.

Awards entries were evaluated on four key areas: functionality, desirability, value for money and innovation.

The Power Chair was commended for its strong package of features and user-friendly design. It was also considered to be a valuable and reliable travel companion for end-users.eFOLDI Power Chair

Tim Ross, National Sales Manager at eFOLDi, commented: “We’re delighted to be recognised at this year’s Naidex awards – it’s a huge honour for our team.

“Despite fierce competition, we continue to find ways to innovate and further enhance the versatility of our products.

“Even in these challenging economic times, products like the Power Chair can help reduce the total cost of ownership, with running costs being less than 1p per mile.”

The Power Chair model is a compact folding powered wheelchair that weights only 15kg, excluding batteries. It folds and unfolds in a few seconds and comes with a joystick controller as well as attendant controls for maximum flexibility.

At last year’s Naidex, eFOLDi scooped the ‘Innovation of the Year’ award at last years’ Naidex with its Lite folding travel scooter.
