eFOLDi brings three decades of trade experience onboard with new national sales manager
Having recently secured a multi-million investment, eFOLDi has bolstered its team with the appointment of Tim Ross ahead of an imminent new product launch.
With almost 30 years of mobility industry experience, Tim Ross has joined the growing manufacturer as its new National Sales Manager.
Discussing joining eFOLDi, Tim said: “I’m really excited about joining the company at this time as they are at a very exciting period in their journey and plan to expand their operation within the mobility sector.”
The appointment follows a £2.5 million investment in the mobility company by London-based venture capital firm Guinness Asset Management in May 2020.
Launching in 2017 by founder Sumi Wang, eFOLDi entered the market with its innovative 8-mph flagship mobility scooter, which now weighs just 17kg and is capable of folding into a small suitcase.
Using out-of-the-box methods to carve out its place in the market, such as crowdfunding and clever social media engagement, the start-up has managed to successfully raise capital, secure sales, as well as build a loyal community of customers & brand advocates.
Now the young company plans to expand its product portfolio, including recently launching a new folding lightweight powerchair weighing 15kg which, according to eFOLDi, has already proven popular among dealers that have reported early success.
The manufacturer also confirmed it has another product coming out shortly.
