Following the end of its distribution partnership with Topro, Rollz International has declared its entrance to the UK market with several new walking aids ahead of the busy spring season for mobility dealers.

With a global distribution network spanning more than 20 countries, Rollz is best known in the UK for its award-winning rollator and wheelchair hybrid, the Rollz Motion.

Initially sold in the UK by Scandinavian manufacturer Topro’s UK arm, Rollz announced its intention to launch its own UK subsidiary at the end of last year to take over distribution.

Rollz Mobility UK Ltd launched at the start of 2020, promising to bring exciting new products to mobility retailers.

Core to the new UK company’s portfolio includes the Rollz Motion Performance and the Saljol Carbon Rollator.

The Motion Performance builds on the success of Rollz’ popular Motion rollator, with the latest all-terrain version of the rollator/wheelchair fusion enabling users to tackle surfaces and settings that they may have been unsure about negotiating before.

According to the company, the enhanced model boasts new shock-absorbing pneumatic tyres, ergonomic handles, softer armrests, adjustable footrests, reflective parts and a new seat cushion.

With a maximum user weight of 125kg, seat dimensions of 42cm x 45cm x 55cm and a minimum and maximum user height of 5ft 3” to 6ft 3” respectively, the Rollz Motion Performance will be suitable for most users.

Alongside the Motion Performance, Rollz Mobility UK will also be bringing the lightweight Carbon Rollator from Saljol to dealers in the UK.

Weighing just 5.8kg (5.0kg without the bag) yet with a maximum user weight of 150kg, the Carbon Rollator has been designed to be as light and robust as possible, as well as being the first rollator of its kind to feature a standard gear shift for increased safety and stability when travelling downhill.

The gear shift functions as a drag brake which is located in front of the user and is simply switched on or off with their foot to determine the rolling resistance.

With additional features including height adjustability, reflective wheels, detachable shopping bag and easy folding mechanism, the Saljol Carbon Rollator has seat, height and width dimensions of 62cm, 22cm and 46cm.
