Sunday Times Track 200 2020

Direct Healthcare Group has been ranked fourth in the 2021 annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 announced yesterday, making it the highest ranked company in the mobility and access sector to feature in the list.

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 ranks Britain’s mid-market (£25m-£200m) private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over the last two years.

The recognition is highly prestigious, with previous top ranked companies including some of the UK’s most popular retailers, as well as leading business consulting firms, energy providers, and TV production companies.

Particular recognition has been given to the important contribution that Direct Healthcare Group, and other companies on the list, have made to both the UK and international markets during the pandemic.

Graham Ewart, CEO of Direct Healthcare Group, said: “It is with great pride that Direct Healthcare Group have been ranked so highly in this years’ Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200.

“Ultimately this serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication that all who work at Direct Healthcare Group give, and I am pleased that these efforts have been recognised nationally.

“Further, this serves as a demonstration of our commitment to design and manufacture medical devices that truly make a difference to those who suffer poor health as a result of reduced mobility, both within the UK and our ever-growing international market.”

Founded just over a decade ago in 2009, Direct Healthcare Group has enjoyed meteoric growth over the last five years, largely driven through a successful mergers and acquisitions strategy which has helped to boost its patient handling portfolio and widen its service offering in the UK.

The pressure care solutions manufacturer most recently acquired Lynch Healthcare Group, which manufactures a wide range of patient slings, hoisting equipment, and shower chairs.

It was the firm’s fourth acquisition of 2020 following purchases of Finnish pressure care and patient handling manufacturer Carital Group Oy, Handicare’s Patient Handling Europe division – which supplies transfer, repositioning and lifting aids, and Swedish rehabilitation aids specialist GATE Rehav Development AB.
