Retirement emergency call service Careline Support Ltd has launched a new personal alarm offering to provide support and reassurance directly to older people who wish to continue living independently in their own homes.

The new specialist service includes a variety of solutions to provide peace of mind to customers and their families, including alarm units, personal pendants, smoke alarms and fall detectors, all linked directly to Careline’s team of highly trained call handlers.

With prices starting from £16.88 per month and introductory offers available, support can be tailored to suit older people who are living alone or with a partner, recovering from hospital stays, or living with ongoing medical concerns.

Operating nationwide from its dedicated call centre in Hampshire, Careline’s team provide advice, assistance and peace of mind at the touch of a button, enabling customers to enjoy an independent lifestyle for longer.

The firm already provides a direct 24/7 emergency call service to apartment owners at over 200 retirement living developments across the country. The company launched in 2020 and has answered over 250,000 calls to date, with an average response time of eight seconds.

Careline has monitoring services accreditation under the Quality Standards Framework for the industry body for technology enabled care (TEC) services.
