Specialist seating manufacturer CareFlex recently welcomed Mel Stride, MP for Central Devon and Secretary of State for Department of Work and Pensions, to its headquarters in Newton Abbot.

A manufacturer of specialist medical seating systems, CareFlex offers a range of products that provide a significant positive impact people’s lives.

Through innovation of high quality and durable seating solutions, CareFlex has built a reputation within the industry and become a trusted partner to the NHS, local authorities, and care homes across the UK.

During the visit, Group CEO Sean Farbrother, Managing Director Jon Riglar, and Sales and Marketing Director Craig Downton provided a tour of the headquarters.

They also took the opportunity to discuss strategic plans, design innovation, market conditions, local employment challenges, and the importance of continued funding in the health and social care sectors.

Mel Stride, expressing his admiration for the products and progress CareFlex has made, stated: “CareFlex employs 65 people from the area and play an important role in our local economy.
