BHTA webinar to enable suppliers to share new and innovative products with mobility retailers
A free webinar hosted by the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) will enable mobility retailers to connect with manufacturers and distributors with new or innovative products to share.
The first ‘Meet the Buyers’ webinar takes place on Tuesday 24th January 2023 from 11am-12.15pm with interested participants able to register here.
Mark Baumann, Chair of Independent Living and Mobility Section for the BHTA (TBC) and the Head of Sales for NRS Healthcare’s Product Sales Division will be introducing the event.
Other speakers at the event will be Jessica Silver, who will be talking about Friendly Shoes’ range of adaptive footwear for adults and children (11.05am-11.25am). Created by an occupational therapist, Friendly Shoes are focused on supplying adaptive footwear that looks good and feels great, combining comfort, function and style.
Richard Gomm, Business Development Manager for Care & Independence will be demonstrating his firm’s in-chair sling varieties from his firm’s Comfort Value range (11.25am-11.45am). Benefits include one cut, structured shaping and full body support which help to make the slings high on comfort and performance during hoisting and when used in-situ.
Amanda Farrell, Product Advisor at Safespaces will offer an overview of how its specialist high-sided beds and travel products can create a safer environment for those with complex needs (11.45am-12.05pm). She will also share case studies to demonstrate the positive outcomes that have been achieved by its clients.
Representing over 400 companies in the healthcare and assistive technology industry and one of the UK’s longest-running healthcare associations, the BHTA supports its members to help ensure the best outcomes for the most vulnerable in society.
David Stockdale, CEO at the BHTA commented to THIIS that the event will be offer a way for different parts of the mobility industry to come together.
