Ableworld store recognised by Sunrise Medical for “strong sales” of powered wheelchair
Mobility equipment supplier Sunrise Medical has recognised the Ableworld store in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, for achieving strong sales in 2023 of its Q50 R Carbon powered wheelchair.
The trophy was engraved with ‘Q50 R Carbon Sales Store 2023’ and this was personally delivered to the store by Mike Prosser, Regional Sales Manager at Sunrise Medical.
The team at Ableworld Hanley were delighted by the visit, along with the award recognition.
Dawn Poole, Store Manager at Ableworld Hanley commented: “We were thrilled by the recognition. We knew the Q50 R was a great product, it was just a matter of showing the customers why”.
Ableworld introduced the Q50 R Carbon powerchair by Sunrise Medical at the beginning of 2023 in order to supply customers with a lightweight option in its powerchair range.
The Q50 R has a sleek carbon fibre frame, both durable and lightweight making it the perfect alternative.
Rhian Pita, Marketing & Franchise Manager for Ableworld commented: “The Buying department at Ableworld hoped the Q50 R would perform well in stores, but nothing could prepare them for what was to come, the release of the new powerchair was a resounding success.”
At the end of 2023 Sunrise Medical was astounded by the volume of sales Ableworld had achieved, and was particularly impressed by the retailer’s Hanley store who contributed a large portion.
Rhian continued: “Ableworld are extremely happy with the response the Q50 R has garnered throughout 2023. It has been an important lesson in learning what customers actually look for in a mobility aid.”
