Five Mobility and Winncare acquisitionWinncare, a European manufacturer of beds, pressure care products, patient handling equipment and hygiene solutions, has acquired Five Mobility, introducing a bariatric and specialist equipment rental organisation to its portfolio of healthcare solutions.

Five Mobility is Winncare’s third UK acquisition and supports the group’s ambition for growth in the acute (hospital) channel by combining the expertise of both organisations.

Established more than four years ago, Five Mobility is a significant player in the UK acute (hospital) channel and has demonstrated a true commitment to delivering world class customer service through the rental of products that meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike.

In December 2022 Winncare acquired Herida Medical cin a move which combined 65 years of manufacturing experienc. Earlier this year, Winncare announced that it had appointed David Elstone as COO across the UK businesses, covering facilities in Leeds, Blackburn and Presteigne.
